Urban Joule Consulting works with young people to get them prepared for the workplace. The first job for a young person is oftentimes a make-or-break opportunity. If they succeed, they gain the confidence that they can achieve the necessary goals to reach their career aspirations, subsequently school becomes more relevant to them to achieve their goals. If they fail, then young people often think that certain careers are closed off to them, they limit their choices for the future, and they have less motivation to excel in school. We work with young people to make sure that they have the necessary skills before they arrive to work on their first day.

We work with businesses, non-profits, and government agencies throughout the Bay Area to ensure that they have a positive experience when hosting a young person in the workplace. In order for our regional economy to grow, industry partners must have confidence that our workforce pipeline can be filled with a skilled and motivated workforce.
